  Romana Beach
Located between Punta del Carregador and Roqueta, it is a fine golden sand beach presenting a curious shell-shaping. It is sunken at two metres from the peninsular platform and separated from it by a natural embankment abundant in vegetation.

Alcossebre
In Alcossebre and Las Fuentes there are many restaurants serving a wide variety of different cuisine from the traditional foods of Spain like Paella and Zarzuela to Chinese, German, Swiss and Italian cuisine.
A very good meal with wine as a "Menu del Dia" would cost €9, or you can find a more up market Restaurant, then the price is up to you, but around €30 is a good guess.
This is a selection of Restaurants that we feel are constantly good, they are not in any order of preference just all serving good food over the whole price range. Some of which are:
Benimar is situated on the promenade between Alcossebre and Las Fuentes. This restaurant serves dishes with a Swiss twist.
Casa Batiste is situated on the sea front in Alcossebre. This is a typical Spanish restaurant and bar.
Mare Nostrum and El Patio are the places to go for pizza. Both are situated in the main town of Alcossebre and also have other Italian specialties on the menu.
Bar Cheers is one of the few English owned restaurants offering a balance between English and Spanish cuisine. Located on the harbour side in Las Fuentes it has become the hub of the English community and makes everyone welcome. Cheers make a wonderful full English breakfast, good old fashioned English fish and chips and a roast dinner on Sunday, just in case you are missing English cooking. They even go so far as to host a special curry night on certain days throughout the year.
Coredero De Oro is our favourite, serving the best Steak and Lamb dishes we have so far experienced on our travels. It can be found on the road between the harbour and the Flamingo bar in Las Fuentes. Tel: 0034 (9)6414537

Peniscola
The old city Peniscola stands on top of an impressive rocky crag which rises 64 metres above the blue sea. The setting in the Mediterranean makes these almost impregnable walls one of the most spectacular fortresses in Spain.

Valencia
Valencia is the third largest city in Spain, and less frequented by foreign tourists than Barcelona. There is a brand new arts and sciences centre, including the largest aquarium park in Europe. There are plenty of beautiful historical streets and buildings which are worth a visit.

Port Aventura theme park
Experience the Dragon Khan roller coaster with 8 inverted loops or try out the two track roller coaster Stampida entirely made of wood at Port Aventura theme park (Salou, 1.5 hours drive North).
The theme park also includes Costa Caribe giant waterpark, which includes an indoor area, which can be visited in the winter months.

Aquarama
Aquarama waterpark in Benicassim is a 30 minutes drive from Alcossebre.

Marina d'Or - Seawater spa
Situated a few miles north of Benicassim, the Marina D'Or is Europe's largest scientific seawater spa - an amazing 430,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor pools and treatment areas. The most spectacular feature is the vast Amusement Zone - an extra large seawater swimming pool surrounded fountains, waterfalls, Jacuzzis and baths. You can unwind in the relaxation areas, bathe in milk and mud or soak in rose and ylang-ylang scented jacuzzis.

The vast majority of the towns and villages on the Costa del Azahar hold some kind of local festivities throughout the year, particularly in the months of July, August and September.
